Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday!  The day started bright and early at 8 am when I went to wake up Jordan.  I told him the Easter Bunny came and I don't think I have ever seen him jump out of his bed that quickly.  We had our egg hunt at church.  Followed by a wonderful dinner with great friends. It was a beautiful day.

Photo Shoot at Ft. Story

My friend Jen and I took our kids to the beach at Ft. Story for a photo shoot last week. Jen is blessed with being able to get great shoots unlike me. Here are the pictures from that day. If you would like a copy of any of them please just let me know. I will be placing a order soon

Chris is Offically on Shore Duty!!!

As of this past Thursday, Chris checked in to his shore duty command.  He will be at this duty station for 3 years.  We are hoping that this time will be spent here but, there is a chance that he could still be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.  But, we will cross that bridge when we get there.  As for now, we are enjoying our time being spoiled by the Navy.  I never thought that would be coming out of my mouth.  Chris' new working hours are great.  He has been getting home in the early afternoon, there are no over nights, but there is still the occasional late day.  Anything is better that 6 days a week and 14 hour days.  So if anybody wants to come and visit now would be the time to do it.  :)

Jordan's First T-ball Game

Jordan's first T-ball  game was Saturday April 9.  He had so much fun.  It was quite funny to watch a bunch of 4 year olds all run after the ball.  He got to hit twice and got the ball once in the field.  They don't keep score and everyone bats.  Even if the other team gets an out the base runner still gets to run all the bases.

We had alot of fun and look forward to the rest of the season!!
